Key Responsibilities
- Work as part of a program team under the guidance of a Program Leader to successfully execute experiential education programs designed by our WildChina Education full-time staff in cooperation with our client schools.
- Actively participate in program dry-runs to ensure roles and responsibilities are clear and activities are properly prepared.
- Lead student group activities and make sure teaching goals are met.
- Ensure student safety during programs.
- Communicate proactively with team members and client teaching staff and make adjustments based on client and Program Leader feedback. Where possible, go above and beyond to actively help other team members, client teachers, and students. Work together closely as a team to ensure program execution meets and exceeds the client’s standards and expectations.
- Provide WildChina Education full-time staff with feedback to help our organization in our mission to continuously improve our level of service.
Requirements
- A passion for education and working with young learners
- A proactive attitude and the energy required to work long hours and bring our programs to a successful conclusion
We’re happy to take the time to talk to and get to know any person who meets these two requirements. Experience in education and/or public speaking are preferable but not a must.
(All on-program staff will be trained in advance of any programs they participate in order to ensure they are aware of and understand relevant standards and procedures, as well as are familiar with the program itinerary and client’s expectations.)
