We will take students to see the various cultures, such as the robust Chinatown and the Thian Hock Keng Temple, the oldest Buddhist-Taoist Chinese temple on Singapore Island. Students will get a glimpse into Malay culture with a visit to the magnificent Sultan Mosque. We will also take a tour of Little India and glimpse into the Indian community in Singapore and the vibrant culture and food there.
There will also be loads of immersive history learning on this plan a school trip to Singapore, with a visit to historical WWII sites such as Battle Box at For Canning, used by the Allied Forces. As well as historical sites, students can visit some of Singapore’s beautiful museums, such as the National Museum, the island nation’s oldest museum. Also on the itinerary are museums like the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum, where students will learn more about the biodiversity of South East Asia through hands-on Workshops. We will also glimpse the city’s future at the Singapore Discover Center.
We also have many other great exhibits for students to be immersed in while on this trip, from a visit to the Night Safari zoo, the world’s first safari park for nocturnal animals, to the S.E.A. Aquarium, the world’s largest aquarium with more than 800 species of marine animals and over 200 sharks. Students will also visit the Singapore Botanic Gardens, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Students will be in awe of this experience, as the views from within this beautiful rainforest are some of the most mesmerizing in the world.
