Esplanade is Singapore’s national performing arts centre. Its year-round line-up of about 3,000 performances presented by Esplanade, its collaboration partners and hirers include a diverse calendar of ticketed and non- ticketed programmes featuring dance, music, theatre, visual arts and more, making the arts accessible for everyone. The centre works in close partnership with local, regional and international artists to develop artistic capabilities and content, push artistic boundaries and engage audiences. It also develops technical capabilities for the industry nationally.

Esplanade Tour:
This is a more extensive tour that will give you a deeper understanding of Esplanade. Learn about architectural qualities together with the ethos behind the management of the arts centre and the development of the arts in Singapore. The tour will cover both front-of-house and backstage facilities, and how these facilities support the smooth and seamless presentations of shows. Get access behind the scenes of the Concert Hall and Theatre, to the orchestra pit, dressing rooms, the artists’ lounge and more.
Esplanade Walk:
Join the walk to find out how the Concert Hall can be tuned to sound like a small room or a huge cathedral. Discover how venues like the Concert Hall and Theatre are able to block out every possible external noise and vibration. This special walk will take you through the Concert Hall, Theatre and other front-of-house facilities to give you an understanding of architecture and history, and the contribution towards the development of the arts in Singapore.
Lasalle College The Institute of Contemporary Arts
The ICA Singapore at LASALLE College of the Arts has five gallery spaces. International exhibitions are normally presented in the Earl Lu Gallery and Gallery 1. Students can expect to see new and experimental work and curriculum-related
projects by LASALLE students and staff in the three level 1 galleries—Praxis Space, Project Space and the Brother Joseph McNally Gallery.
Singapore Repertory Theatre
Singapore Repertory Theatre’s (SRT) goal is to provide a platform for Asian artists both on and off stage and to give Singaporeans and visitors the opportunity to experience Broadway, the West End and the richness of Singaporean culture. SRT has established itself as one of Asia’s leading English-language theatres. In addition to its repertoire of original work, the company has produced a number of highly popular and critically acclaimed productions of western classics starring Asian performers. These include Kiss of the Spider Woman, Little Shop of Horrors, Art, The Woman in Black, The Pillowman, Blackbird, Avenue Q, God of Carnage, Venus in Fur and many others.

Come explore Shakespeare using active, drama-based activities!. Our teaching artists enable students to learn by experiencing and to thin crucially about Shakespeare’s language, characters and themes. Applicable only to specific plays – enquire for more details.
Singapore Dance Theater
Singapore Dance Theatre is an ambassador for dance and for Singapore – bridging any divides and differences to establish resonance for both practitioners and audiences through quality performances and engaging educational and outreach activities, thereby strengthening the appreciation and love of dance as an art form.

Behide The Scenes Tours:
Take a peek into the life of a professional ballet company. Walking into a dancer’s workplace and getting behind-the-scene glimpses is another education and learning privilege that SDT offers to our audience. With a structured tour, students get to explore our shoe room, costume sets room and more into a professional dancer’s daily routine and the environment in which these artists work. This gives the individual a value-added learning experience on everything about a dancer. At the end of the tour, students will be pleasured with the opportunity of being among the first to catch the upcoming repertoires through the dancers’ rehearsal moments.
Introduction to Ballet Workshop:
Take off into the world of exciting choreography and classical music as our dancers showcase their technical agility and fine articulation of ballet. Introduction to Ballet is a lecture-cum-performance which allows students to gain insight into a dancer’s daily routine. This programme is suitable for students of all levels, whether at a primary school or tertiary level, where our dancers will demonstrate how ballet steps are executed. Students will also get to watch excerpts from the SDT’s theatrical repertoire, as well as understand the differences between classical and contemporary dance.
