Urban Redevelopment Authority

Singapore City Gallery situated at the Urban Redevelopment Authority. The gallery is specially designed for self-discovery and learning of Singapore’s planning journey through its many interactive exhibits. With 10 thematic areas and more then 50 audio – visual and interactive exhibits. Students will enjoy a guided tour along with viewing architectural models and enjoy various interactive and experiential exhibits throughout the gallery.
Program outline:
The Singapore city gallery objectives are to understand the story behind the nation’s planning and physical transformation and know the different ways in which land is planned effectively for people to live, work and play.

NEWater Visitor Centre

The NEWater Visitor Centre is set up by PUB, Singapore’s national water agency. The centre showcases NEWater, high- grade reclaimed water that has found its place as a Singapore success story and the pillar of Singapore’s water sustainability. NEWater is produced from treated used water that is further purified using advanced membrane technologies and ultraviolet disinfection to make clean, safe drinking water.
Program outline:
An educational tour in the NEWater Visitor Centre takes participants through a session of multimedia presentations, hands-on interactive games, and informative exhibits that explore the Singapore water story. Participants can expect a comprehensive understanding of water-related topics and detailed information about NEWater, its production, and its uses — while appreciating the concept of water sustainability in Singapore.

Marina Barrage

The Marina Barrage created Singapore’s 15th reservoir, and the first in the heart of the city in boosting Singapore’s water supply and alleviating flooding. With a catchment area of 10,000 hectares the marina catchment is the island’s largest and most urbanised catchment. In the sustainable Singapore gallery, students can learn about environmental sustainability with the usage of interactive multimedia illustrating how Singapore overcame it’s contraints in natural resources to meet the needs of a fast developing population in an environmentally friendly manner.
Program outline:
The Sustainable Singapore Gallery is organised into six zones, tracing Singapore’s response to climate change, water management strategies, zero waste initiatives, and efforts to keep Singapore clean, green and sustainable,including investments in renewable energy through the use of interactive panels and multi-sensory exhibits.

FusionWorld Experience

FusionWorld, serves as an educational platform to inspire passion for science and technology for students. At FusionWorld, students will embark on a journey to learn about our latest science & engineering technologies and research highlights through a guided tour. As students venture through the five thematic zones, students will explore and discover how cutting edge technologies can enhance our everyday lives and beyond.
Program outline:
FusionWorld will demonstrate technologies from the 7 A*STAR science and engineering research institutes through interactive exhibits which demonstrate how companies can leverage technologies to develop new products, markets, and business models, enhance their skills-sets and technological capabilities and compete with global players. The gallery also serves as an educational platform to inspire passion for science and technology among students.

Singapore Mobility Gallery

Visit the Singapore mobility gallery to learn about Singapore’s physical environment; land use in Singapore and how Singapore manages its resources to meet the needs of the country.
Program outline:
The Gallery strives to engage and educate an increasingly diverse local and international audience. This encom- passes commuters, motorists, students, grassroots bodies, urban planners, public transport academics, operators and industry partners, to promote awareness and encourage an open exchange of ideas on land transport.

Hiverlab

Hiverlab is a pioneering infocomm media technology innovation and content production company focusing on content and system development with immersive technology and media VR content.
Program outline:
Immersive Technology Workshop: Students will enjoy a half day introduction workshop program including introduction of immersive technology and media and the use of VR content and the usage of 360 cameras. The workshop are structured in a way to enhance the students understanding of technology applications, global perspectives and social responsibility.

JTC Launchpad

Known as the “Silicon Valley” of Singapore, JTC LaunchPad provides startups with a conducive space to innovate. Immerse yourself into this habitat of entrepreneurship and explore various cutting-edge prototypes that were launched from this hotbed.
Program outline:
This program aims to provide a comprehensive overview to the entrepreneurship journey in Singapore. At the same time, it is also an encouragement to the next generation on what is truly possible for the future. Immerse yourself into our ecosystem of entrepreneurship, and be inspired to leave a big impact in your home, your community and the world.

Mediacorp Experience

The Mediacorp Experience, gives students a chance to experience the magic of media, take a glimpse at behind- the-scene moments and learn about the history and future of broadcasting in Singapore. Mediacorp has the widest range of media platforms in Singapore spanning digital, television, radio, print and out-of-home media.
Program outline:
Students will enjoy a 90 minutes interactive guided tour being immersed in an interactive journey through space and time. Along the way, choose to take part in a TV production, have a go at being a news presenter, a radio deejay or just glam up for the cover of 8 Days magazine.

ArtScience Museum

ArtScience Museum at Marina Bay Sands is Southeast Asia’s leading cultural institution that explores the interrelationship between art, science, technology and culture. Featuring 21 galleries totaling 50,000 square feet,the iconic lotus-inspired building has staged major exhibitions by some of the 20th century’s key artists, including Salvador Dalí, Andy Warhol and Vincent Van Gogh, as well as major exhibitions which explore aspects of scientific history.

ArtScience Museum offers an engaging programme of events and activities for all students, complementing the touring exhibitions and the permanent ArtScience galleries.

Science Centre Singapore

Science Centre Singapore gives learners and enthusiasts of all ages the opportunity to experience science education in an immersive environment. The Science Centre is an interactive science playground with over 1,000 interactive exhibits for students to discover. The Centre consists of 14 themed exhibition galleries, science shows and numerous hands-on learning opportunities — all aimed at making science learning a process of innovation, creativity and inspiration.
Program outline:
Science Centre Singapore creates multiple hands-on learning opportunities for students to explore science through its award-winning science enrichment programmes such as DNA Workshops, Snow City Workshop, Physics and Chemistry Workshops.

Changi Experience Studio

Changi Experience Studio, a state of the art digital experience. With a collection of over 20 different touchpoints and ten zones spread over 3,000sqm, the Changi Experience Studio utilises technology to present a diverse mix of unique experiences under one roof, including interactive games, projection storytelling, immersive shows and gallery exhibits. Each touchpoint tells a different slice of the Changi Airport story uncovered through the students’ participation.
Program outline:
Students can have fun playing games simulating different functions at the airport and learning how things work behind-the scenes through interactive projection exhibits.They can also look forward to an immersive show that will trigger their senses and imagination about the past and future of aviation.

The Singapore Maritime Gallery tells the story of Singapore’s transformation from a thriving trading post into a global hub port and international maritime centre. Seize the opportunity to experience our rich maritime heritage, while learning about the vital link between the maritime industry and our daily lives.
