Xinjiang
About this Journey

Xinjiang is China’s wild west, filled with a diversity and culture that has more in common with central Asian countries than China with majestic feats such as the exquisite Karakul Lake, the treacherous Taklamakan desert, or the bustling markets of Kashgar. Students will broaden their cultural understandings through hands on activities such as visiting the local markets and mosques.
